Choosing the perfect baby car seat

One of the most important things to buy before baby is born is a good car seat. Buy it early enough and get it properly installed. Many hospitals check your car and car seat before they let you drive off with your newborn. Today we are going into a little more detail about baby car seats to make it easier for you to make a good decision on which car seat to buy.
There are hundreds of different car seats in the market today. Just having a look at Amazon dot com’s wide selection will leave you spoiled for choices. There’s a wide array of companies manufacturing baby car seats such as Cosco, Combi and Britax.
The best car seat is the one that fits your vehicle, budget and your baby. It should be one that you will feel comfortable using every time you drive your car.
There are quite a few things you should look for in a baby car seat before you buy.
1. The restraints
This is the most important aspect of the car seat. The restraints should ideally be in the form of straps as these are most effective. Look for straps that cover both the shoulders and thighs.
2. Comfort of the baby
There should be quite a bit of padding inside the car seat to make your baby more comfortable.
You should also consider movement of arms and legs to make the baby enjoy himself and be able to watch the view as well.
3. Washing the car seat
Look for a car seat that allows you to detach the padding and put it in a washing machine. As we all know babies can get really messy, thus having a detachable padding will save you lots of time.
4. Car seat installation
It is important to find a car seat that can be easily and properly installed. Some baby car seats have tons of features but are difficult to install. When buying one make sure you understand the instructions and are able to tightly fasten the car seat to your vehicle. Many local fire departments offer baby car seat installation services – completely free of charge.
5. Used car seat?
These are generally not safe and should not be considered unless you get it from someone who can provide an accurate history. This is because if the car seat has been in a crash it is highly unlikely it can withstand more physical trauma which could be as a result of a second crash. Baby’s safety always comes first
6. Think long-term.
Some car seats are designed to grow with the baby and function well until the baby reaches a certain age and weight. Sometimes it makes more sense to spend a little more on a car seat that can be transformed or used when baby outgrows the initial setup.
In general, the best Baby car seat is one that puts safety of the baby above all else and this should be the main consideration when making a purchase.

Pregnancy Announcement Postcards – Shipping and Handling

Sometimes we receive inquiries about how fast and how our postcards are being shipped. We usually ship an order within 24-48 hours after the order has been received and the payment has been confirmed. Weekends or holidays might lead to additional (expected) delays. We do ship everything via United States Postal Service Priority Mail (USPS Priority Mail). Delivery takes about 3-5 days from what we have seen in the past.
All postcards will be shipped in standard USPS envelopes so that your privacy is guaranteed. Nobody will be able to see what you have ordered. The sender’s information will show our main company name (Net Services USA, LLC) accordingly. The pregnancy postcards will be wrapped in bubble-wrap for best protection. Please be aware that larger orders see a larger shipping fee as well (that is just the nature of the beast (volume) so to speak.
We do not offer insurance, but every order sees delivery confirmation on our side so that we know that your order has arrived safely.

Welcome to the our newly re-designed pregnancy announcements website. If you have visited us before you will notice the big change. Easier navigation and better access to our our products will make for the biggest change. The design itself has changed dramatically - signaling the growth and popularity of our products that has occured over time.
What changes have been made? An easy to use contact form is now available from our privacy and ToS page so that you can contact us with any questions or concerns. The contact web form can also be accessed through the link at the bottom of every page.
Each pregnancy announcement postcard now has its product page which will allow us to describe the postcard in more detail and to allow better viewing. We will also add more products soon. That way we are ready for the growth as well.
